DeWayne Ladner is originally from Necaise, Mississippi and in 1986 was licensed with Massachusetts Indemnity Life Insurance Company. He received his Series 6 Security License in 1987 and became a Representative of First American National Securities. In 1992 he accepted a Contract Negotiator position with Marine Spill Response Corporation and relocated to the Savannah, Georgia area. He placed his insurance license with DeWitt Insurance Agency in Rincon, Georgia and acquired his Series 63 Security License. After working part-time and full time with the DeWitt family, he purchased the agency in 2002. Later that year he opened his first branch office in Diamondhead, Mississippi, just 20 miles from his home town community. In 2006 DeWitt expanded to Statesboro, Georgia for their Bulloch County clients. Over the years, DeWitt Agency has grown throughout the Southeast region of Georgia through client referrals and acquisitions.
In 2014, DeWayne co-founded Vision Financial Group of Georgia with Certified Financial Planners Scott Bass and Talbert Edenfield. The firm would help his insurance clients plan their future through financial investing and retirement planning.
In 1993, DeWayne married Kathy Crawford Ladner of Slidell, Louisiana. They have two daughters, Katelyn and Kasey, and reside in Rincon. They are members of and serve at First Baptist Church of Rincon.
